Best Photos to Upload for AI Edits

A practical checklist for choosing source photos that give AI templates the best chance of producing a clean result.

Use one clear subject

Most AI photo templates perform best when there is one obvious person to edit. Group photos can work for some poster or couple formats, but single-subject photos are safer for identity, pose, and composition.

Show the details the template needs

Headshots need face detail. Outfit try-ons need visible clothing and body shape. Sports posters need pose and energy. Action figures and doll boxes often benefit from a full-body source.

Avoid inputs that hide identity

Dark sunglasses, extreme side angles, blur, low resolution, and heavy filters make it harder for the output to stay recognizable. The cleaner the input, the less the AI has to guess.

Choose the result for the use case

A dramatic image might be best for a social trend. A calmer, realistic edit might be better for a profile. Uploading several source photos gives you more range without changing the template.
